BUILDING HIGH-PERFORMANCE TEAMS

This course uses proven practices for building and leading high-performance teams in volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous, and often distributed projects environments.

Participants in this course will examine the processes and activities needed to build and guide diverse teams that can navigate the impacts of external and internal forces and form coach and lead teams that are resilient and agile to volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous work contexts.

INFLUENCING WITHOUT FORMAL POWER

This course provides participants with the skills needed to build credibility and reliability to influence key stakeholders to secure resources and support effectively.

It enables participants to analyze the attitudes and behaviors of leaders to get work done through influence and persuasion, whether managing up, down, across, or diagonally within organizations.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE ESSENTIALS

Emotional intelligence, also called EQ, is the ability to be aware of and manage emotions and relationships. It is a pivotal factor in personal and professional success. IQ (it stands for intelligence quotient and, in short, it is a measure of a person’s reasoning ability) will get you in the door. Still, your EQ, your ability to connect with others, and manage your emotions and others will determine how successful you are in life.

We have all worked with and listened to brilliant people. Some of them were great, and well, some were not so great. The mean and the meek and all those in between can teach us more than they realize. When we look at the truly extraordinary people who inspire and make a difference, we will see that they do this by connecting with people at a personal and emotional level.
